Who set it up?
Who set up the Professional Gamer Training Academy?
In 2007 Kathy Zablotzky entered the Championship Gaming Series Dead or Alive 4 tournament under her gamertag "Snuggles". Kathy won the women’s tournament and UK championship. She was asked to join the London Mint pro gaming team by the Manager, Sujoy Roy. Kathy played for London Mint in the UK team competition, won her game 5:2, and London Mint went on to become CGS UK Champions for 2007. Kathy played for London Mint at the world finals in Los Angeles where the team made it to the quarter finals.

In every field training is available, whether in work, sport or leisure. PGTA is offering a range of structured lessons to gamers in a range of games, by trained instructors.
The Prices
No paying through the nose for our students
Other gamer training sites on the Internet allow their instructors to charge what they like, and some charge a lot of money. Our instructors get a fixed fee so we have fixed prices for our lessons. That way students don't have to pay through the nose and we have made sure that prices are sensible for teams.

Carefully assessed and taught how to teach
Unlike any other gamer training site on the internet PGTA has a small number of instructors for each game and every one of them has had lessons in how to teach. No instructor is allowed to teach a lesson until they have done the necessary work to pass their final assessment.
The Lessons
Structured lessons from intro through to advanced and beyond
PGTA instructors aren't allowed to teach anything they like during a lesson. Each lesson is carefully planned and thoroughly tested before it's offered on the site. When you book a lesson with PGTA you know whether it is the right lesson for you because you know in advance what level of player it has been developed for and what topics it covers. The instructors are helped and guided through the process of developing their lessons to make sure that they are structured and that they provide the maximum benefit to the students. Of course if you want an ad hoc lesson, where you decide how to spend the hour, we can generally offer that too.
